St. Elizabeth in Erlanger, KY seeks a Revenue Cycle Specialist- Collections to manage patient and insurer communications, process claims, and ensure timely payments. You will handle A/R aging reports, EOBs, refunds, and adjustments with accuracy, documenting every step for month-end reporting.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical insurance, managed care plans, CPT, ICD9 and ICD10 codes.
• Ability to read and understand Explanations of Benefits from all insurance companies.
• Knowledge of FDCPA and Bankruptcy.
• Detailed and thorough work on special projects as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Respond to patient and insurer inquiries within 1 business day.
• Work A/R aging reports and correspondence daily.
• Refill unpaid or incorrectly paid claims and adjust demographics.
• Post and verify payments and EOBs; balance accounts.
• File claims to multiple insurance companies and follow up.
• Coordinate refunds and handle refund requests from payers.
