Job summary

St. Elizabeth Physicians is seeking a Revenue Cycle Specialist for Follow-up Primary Care. The role focuses on timely responses to patients, handling A/R, and correcting claim issues within one business day. It requires CPC certification for trainer roles and offers a path in revenue cycle operations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical insurance, CPT, ICD9 and ICD10 codes.
• Ability to read and understand Explanations of Benefits from all insurance companies.
• Knowledge of FDCPA and Bankruptcy.
• Detailed and thorough work on special projects as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Respond to patients and insurer inquiries within one business day.
• Work A/R aging reports and correspondence daily.
• Follow-up with insurance on payment status and refunds.
• Refill and refile claims to secondary insurance when needed.
• Post payments and balance patient accounts; maintain logs and documentation.
• Communicate professionally with payors, patients, physicians, and staff.
