Zusammenfassung

Abbott revenue cycle team seeks a Revenue Cycle Coverage and Claims Associate II to support insurance reimbursement in a remote U.S. setting. You will handle eligibility, claims, denials, and payments using Epic and payer portals, ensuring accurate data and timely processing.

You will verify coverage, edit and submit claims, analyze denials, and coordinate with payers and internal teams. Normal hours are 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. CST, Monday–Friday.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or certification preferred.
• Relevant revenue cycle, medical billing, and insurance processing experience.
• Experience with Epic or other EHR systems is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Verify patient insurance eligibility and update demographics and guarantor data.
• Submit and appeal claims; correct rejected claims with supporting docs.
• Analyze denials and underpayments to determine next steps.
• Manage escalations and workflows related to new products or process changes.
• Document actions, protect HIPAA, and collaborate with payers and internal teams.
