Job summary

You will evaluate system performance, support corrections, and ensure payer guideline compliance.

The role requires CPC certification and 4–6 years in revenue cycle auditing, with advanced Excel and data analytics skills. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold CPC from AAPC or AHIMA, or obtain within 1 year.
• 4–6 years of revenue cycle auditing experience; anesthesia focus preferred.
• Strong proficiency in claims, denials trends, and payer contract interpretation.
• Advanced Excel and data analytics tools experience.

Responsibilities

• Audit revenue cycle functions focusing on registration, coding, billing, and collections.
• Evaluate system performance and maintenance of dictionaries and configurations.
• Support charge corrections and track resolutions from audit findings.
• Analyze claim workflows to identify root causes of delays.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve interface errors.
• Review payer claim acknowledgments with Accounts Receivable to ensure timely processing.
• Audit coding accuracy and ensure compliance with ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS.
• Prepare technical audit reports, dashboards, and corrective action plans.
• Perform pre-correction reviews to hand off to charge correction team.
