Qualifications

• Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with insurance terminology, plans and contracts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow up with third party payers, patients and departments on outstanding balances.
• Contact payers regarding unpaid or denied accounts.
• Obtain information required for account resolution and reconcile adjustments.
• Analyze payment discrepancies and determine resolution actions.
• Maintain knowledge of payer requirements and regulatory guidelines.
