Job summary

Radiology Partners is seeking an Optimization Analyst to analyze revenue cycle metrics, develop reports, and identify opportunities to improve financial performance. You will partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to address opportunities, reduce exceptions, and enhance collections while monitoring payer activity.

The role emphasizes data-driven insights, strong Excel/SQL/Tableau skills, and the ability to work remotely with flexible schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare, Accounting, or related field preferred with 2+ years of healthcare revenue cycle or analytical experience.
• Strong experience analyzing large datasets with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; SQL and Tableau experience preferred.
• Knowledge of healthcare claims data, reimbursement processes, payer contracts, denial management, and revenue cycle operations.
• Strong research, analytical, problem-solving, and business intelligence skills with the ability to extract, manipulate, and interpret complex data.
• Excellent communication, organization, time management, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to independently drive results and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Analyze revenue cycle metrics and data to identify opportunities to improve revenue, collections, and overall financial performance.
• Develop recurring and ad-hoc revenue cycle reports, analyze large datasets, and transform complex information into actionable financial insights.
• Perform root cause analysis to identify denial management, timely filing, payment reconciliation, and patient collection opportunities.
• Partner with Revenue Cycle leadership and cross-functional teams to address identified opportunities, reduce avoidable exceptions, and improve collections performance.
• Monitor industry trends, marketplace dynamics, and payer activity while presenting analytical findings and recommendations to leadership.
