Job summary

Mapbox is seeking a Revenue Accountant to support monthly close, journal entries and AR processes for assigned areas. You will manage invoicing, revenue recognition, and liaise with FP&A, Billing, Analytics, and Sales to ensure accurate financial reporting.

The role requires 3+ years in accounting, with 1–3 years in revenue accounting, a BS in Finance or Accounting, and proficiency in Excel and Netsuite or similar ERP systems. This position is remote within the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue close process for assigned areas.
• Prepare monthly journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and flux analysis for revenue and AR related accounts.
• Manage full accounts receivable processes for committed customers, including invoice preparation, collections, and billing portals.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices, payments, taxation, and invoicing prerequisites.
• Manage the order-to-cash process, review contracts, sync opportunities from SalesForce to Netsuite, and set up sales orders.
• Support business processes by partnering with FP&A, Billing, Analytics, Revenue Operations, Support, and Sales.
• Assist with preparation for the annual financial statement audit.
