Job summary

Sedgwick CMS is hiring a Return-to-Work Specialist to leverage medical, rehabilitation knowledge to manage accommodations and RTW plans in a remote setting. You’ll assess work restrictions, liaise with clinicians and employers, and help design adaptive strategies for injured employees while ensuring compliance with regulations.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree (CRC preferred) and have experience in vocational evaluation or case management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determine objective, quantifiable, medically supported work restrictions for assigned claims.
• Facilitate return-to-work efforts through negotiation with client, treatment provider and claimant.
• Complete vocational/RTW documentation and report results per Sedgwick CMS standards.
• Contact employers to gather job site information and assess physical demands and wages.
• Assist in modifying job sites or obtaining adaptive equipment as needed.
