Job summary

Fidelity Investments Inc. seeks a Retirement Planner within TEMPA to educate and support workplace retirement plan participants, helping them understand plan benefits, employer matching, and investment options.

You will guide discussions to identify goals, opportunities for asset consolidation, and tailored retirement solutions. You will collaborate with the TEMPA team to address more complex planning needs, strengthen relationships, and improve participant outcomes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in investment sales or financial planning.
• Series 7 and 66 licenses preferred; Series 7 and 63 required, with ability to obtain the Series 65 or 66 within 90 days of hire
• Strong understanding of financial markets, economic conditions, and industry trends
• Excellent consultative, influencing, and communication skills with the ability to build trust and drive client engagement
• Demonstrated initiative and a proactive approach to identifying client needs and opportunities
• Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment
• Openness to coaching, performance feedback, and adapting to evolving business needs and priorities
• Ability to effectively leverage planning tools and resources to help participants assess and improve their retirement readiness
• Proven ability to conduct needs-based conversations, identify appropriate solutions, and support asset acquisition, retention, and growth
• Strong ability to articulate Fidelity's approach and vision to provide general investment education to clients

Responsibilities

• Educate and support workplace retirement plan participants by increasing awareness of retirement readiness and helping individuals take meaningful steps toward achieving their long-term financial goals.
• Guide participants through employer-sponsored retirement plans, including plan benefits, employer matching contributions, and investment strategies.
• Conduct needs-based conversations to identify participant goals and opportunities for retirement asset consolidation.
• Collaborate with TEMPA team for more complex planning needs to enhance participant outcomes.
• Strengthen long-term relationships with Fidelity by delivering personalized guidance and building trust.
