Job summary

Empower is seeking a Retirement Sales Consultant to drive new Taft-Hartley business development. You will manage opportunities, proposals, pricing, and intermediary relationships throughout the sales process with Regional Sales Directors.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 3–5 years of relevant experience, plus FINRA licenses and travel as needed. The position offers a base salary, bonus potential, and benefits in a flexible, inclusive environment that supports mobility and work-life

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business or related field
3–5 years of business experience
FINRA Series 7 and 63 registrations and applicable insurance licensing within corporate timelines
FINRA Fingerprinting required
Knowledge of retirement plan services and intermediaries
Financial services sales or service experience
Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
Travel ability as needed

Responsibilities

Lead RFPs, RFIs, pricing requests, and other sales opportunities from initial evaluation through close
Partner with RSDs and internal teams to develop proposals, pricing, and solutions
Support Stable Value Investment Only sales and related products
Coordinate finalist presentations, site visits, and prospect meetings
Build relationships with retirement plan intermediaries and respond to inquiries
Maintain Salesforce opportunities and outcomes
Communicate progress to senior management and stakeholders
Support sales-related projects as needed
