Job summary

Nova 401(k) Associates is seeking a Retirement Plan Distribution Specialist to join our growing remote team. You will process retirement plan distributions and loans, communicate with participants and plan sponsors, and help ensure retirement transactions are completed accurately and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Experience in banking, credit unions, financial services, payroll, benefits administration, insurance, loan processing, mortgage servicing, or other detail-oriented operations environments.
• Retirement industry experience is not required.

Responsibilities

• Process retirement plan distribution and loan requests from start to finish
• Review documentation for accuracy and completeness
• Prepare distribution and loan packages, including vesting verification for applicable plans
• Identify loan defaults and Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs)
• Communicate with participants, plan sponsors, financial advisors, and recordkeepers regarding requests and status updates
• Research and resolve participant and client inquiries
