Job summary

Peak Financial Planning is seeking an Associate Financial Planner focused on retirement income planning. This is a technical role designed to grow into a Financial Planner within about a year, with no sales quota and no client book required.

The position is fully remote within the United States, offering a pathway to a CFP-supported education and a clear progression to the Financial Planner role, along with a competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in financial services (RIA operations, paraplanning, custodian service, tax prep, or related).
• Currently pursuing CFP education or committed to enrolling.
• Strong spreadsheet skills; detail-oriented and accurate.

Responsibilities

• Enter and organize client data in IncomeLab and Holistiplan.
• Set up new client plans in IncomeLab from structure to projections.
• Gather and reconcile investment/account data across Altruist and client statements.
• Run retirement projections, tax scenarios, Roth conversion comparisons, and Social Security timing.
• Prepare materials to support advisor prep for planning meetings.
• Flag missing data, inconsistencies, and open questions before planners or clients see them.
• Follow Peak's planning checklists, SOPs, and QA processes.
