Job summary

Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company is seeking a Remote Retention Agent to contact policyholders, process changes, and provide excellent service across personal lines products. You will support retention efforts, cross-sell additional Nationwide offerings, and assist sales teams while working in a fast-paced, remote call center environment.

The role requires strong communication skills, insurance knowledge, and at least a high school diploma with preference for related study.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in related fields preferred.
• Three+ years of property/casualty sales experience preferred; call center experience valued.
• Strong knowledge of property/casualty and life products; ability to explain coverage clearly.

Responsibilities

• Make and receive calls to retain policyholders and cross-sell Nationwide products.
• Process policy changes and maintain accurate documentation across systems.
• Provide outstanding customer experiences via phone and online chat.
• Assist sales agents when needed and support retention-related initiatives.
• Standards: meet service and quality targets and adhere to underwriting guidelines.
