Job summary

Oldcastle APG is seeking a Retail Merchandiser to cover big box retail stores in the Des Moines area. This remote role requires residency in Des Moines, IA and occasional travel to customer locations.

You will plan store visits, monitor inventory, set up product displays, participate in events, and collaborate with store and district managers to optimize shelf space and product knowledge. A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds
• Ability to travel daily to customer locations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
• Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute daily/weekly store visits across Des Moines area
• Monitor inventory levels and resolve discrepancies with teams
• Build and install product displays and store resets
• Lead or participate in customer events and clinics
• Share ideas to optimize shelf space with supervisors
