About the Role

Our client, a leading national retailer, is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Remote Inventory Management Specialist to join their operational team. This critical role focuses on optimizing inventory levels across all stores and distribution centers to ensure product availability while minimizing holding costs and preventing stockouts. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze inventory levels across the entire supply chain to ensure optimal stock quantities.
• Develop and implement inventory management strategies to reduce carrying costs and improve turnover rates.
• Conduct regular audits and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Utilize inventory management software and reporting tools to track stock movements, forecast demand, and plan replenishment.
• Collaborate with purchasing, sales, and logistics teams to align inventory levels with sales forecasts and promotional activities.
• Identify and address slow-moving or obsolete inventory.
• Implement best practices for stock rotation, warehousing, and stockroom organization.
• Generate regular reports on inventory performance, including key metrics such as stock levels, fill rates, and obsolescence.
• Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and efficiency.
• Support the implementation and optimization of new inventory management technologies.

Requirements
