Job summary

Lifespan of Greater Rochester is seeking a remote Information and Outreach Coordinator to support caregivers and volunteers in the western New York region.

The role focuses on case management for adults 60+, coordinating respite sites, training volunteers, gathering data, and promoting the NYSCRC respite programs. Strong communication and computer skills are required; some mobility and transportation may be needed for offsite activities.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree, BS, BA or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of community resources and experience working in volunteerism helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide information and assistance to caregivers.
• Support and coordinate training for respite program volunteers.
• Oversee established respite sites in the region.
• Perform case management for persons 60+ and outreach to organizations and caregivers.
• Promote the NYSCRC respite voucher program and assist with data and reporting.
• Assist in gathering and maintaining state respite deliverables and outcomes.
