Job summary

Signature Companies is seeking experienced Residential Insurance Inspectors to visit property owners and perform interior inspections and high-value dwelling inspections. Contractors are paid per completed report, and work is done largely from home with field visits.

As a contractor, you will compile photos, measurements, and notes, submit reports online, and ensure timely delivery within 21 days. Prior inspection experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior underwriting experience preferred.
• Prior inspection experience on residential homes.
• Loss control experience preferred.
• Construction experience preferred.
• Computer competencies in Windows and internet environment required.
• BA or BS degree preferred.
• CPCU or IIA preferred.
• Must have smartphone, tablet, and personal computer.
• Late model car.

Responsibilities

• Visit properties and conduct interior inspections.
• Take photos and measurements; determine replacement cost.
• Write up the survey from home using a Windows-based PC.
• Submit report online for underwriting review.
• Identify underwriting concerns and recommend loss prevention.
