Zusammenfassung

SouthState Bank is seeking a Residential Appraisal Review Analyst to conduct reviews of residential appraisal and evaluation reports and support the appraisal operations.

The role requires strong knowledge of USPAP and related regulations, plus the ability to train staff and assist with audits and policy updates. A bachelor’s degree is preferred and 3+ years of appraisal experience are expected.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 3 years in an appraisal or appraisal review.
• State Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser preferred, but not required.
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) preferred.
• Knowledge of USPAP, FIRREA, OCC, HVCC and FNMA/FHLMC guidelines and regulations.

Aufgaben

• Ensure that the Bank's policies and procedures, code of conduct, and regulatory guidelines are strictly complied with.
• Assist with procurement and ordering process.
• Perform reviews of appraisal and evaluation reports, ensuring compliance to bank policy.
• Perform validations and in-house evaluations as needed.
• Assist with regulatory exams and internal audits.
• Update bank appraisal policies and bulletins as required.
• Train bank employees and appraisal team members on appraisal material and systems.
• Maintain contact with departments to monitor appraisal pipeline and resolve issues.
• Oversee appraisal requests to ensure qualified external appraisers and reasonable fee quotes.
• Assist in implementing new technology and software for the appraisal department.
• Support colleagues with positive interactions and cross-training.
