Job summary

Oura is seeking a Research Project Manager to join the Research Operations team. You will own multiple outcomes-focused studies and coordinate with Clinical Outcomes, Health Science, Data Science, Engineering, Product, and external partners.

This is a remote US role with a preference for East Coast candidates. You will build and maintain relationships with collaborators in academic, healthcare, CRO, and commercial organizations, establish processes for high-quality research, and translate

Qualifications

• Experience managing human research, clinical outcomes, or real-world evidence projects.
• Ability to coordinate external partnerships (academic, CRO, industry).
• Experience taking projects from feasibility through closeout and reporting.
• Strong documentation, risk management, and cross-functional communication skills.
• Familiarity with data flows and privacy/consent requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of research studies from feasibility to closeout, coordinating partners and timelines.
• Build relationships with academic, healthcare, CRO, and commercial collaborators.
• Establish repeatable processes to enable high-quality research in a fast-paced environment.
• Translate research questions into study plans, milestones, and deliverables.
• Coordinate budgets, contracts, data-transfer expectations, and privacy requirements.
• Monitor study progress, identify risks, and communicate tradeoffs to stakeholders.
• Support dissemination through reports, publications, and regulatory materials.
