Job summary

The Department of Rehabilitation Sciences in the College of Health Professions at the Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Research Program Coordinator I-Journeyman to manage a federally funded, multi-site study examining real-world dysarthria treatment outcomes for people with Parkinson disease.

You will handle day-to-day operations, site onboarding, recruitment, eligibility screening, consent, and remote data collection, while maintaining REDCap instruments, ensuring data quality,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required for employment.
• Two years of relevant program experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate a federally funded, multi-site study evaluating dysarthria outcomes in Parkinson disease.
• Oversee day-to-day study operations including site onboarding, recruitment, eligibility screening and consent procedures.
• Provide instruction on remote data collection procedures and maintain REDCap instruments and outcome tracking.
• Ensure data quality assurance, regulatory documentation, and prepare study manuals and reports.
• Attend focus groups, take field notes, and supervise graduate student assistants.
• Serve as central contact for participants, clinical partners, and collaborating teams.
