Job summary

The University of Michigan’s Michigan Medicine is seeking a full-time Research Coordinator for a federally funded randomized controlled trial evaluating Save with Care, a digital intervention to help adults with type 2 diabetes manage health care costs.

You will lead day-to-day study activities, develop materials, recruit and enroll participants, collect and manage data, and perform qualitative analyses as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Public Health, Social Work, Psychology, Health Sciences, or related field.
• At least 4 years of relevant research experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
• Problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing needs.
• Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day study activities with the Project Manager, PI, and research team.
• Develop and refine study procedures, recruitment materials, and documentation.
• Coordinate implementation and refinement of the Save with Care intervention.
• Develop workflows to support protocol adherence and data quality.
• Oversee participant recruitment, screening, consent, enrollment, tracking, and retention.
• Support data collection and qualitative analysis of interview data.
