Job summary

BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee is hiring a Reporting Solutions Consultant I on the Internal Audit team. You will retrieve, query, and analyze claims data to support audits and provide data/reporting support to the Claims Payment Integrity group.

The role blends claims data expertise with audit practices to improve data access and usefulness for reviews. Ideal candidates will have healthcare claims data experience, SQL familiarity, and strong analytical/problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a corporate setting.
• 3 years of reporting development and programming experience.
• Experience querying healthcare claims data.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Define requirements, analyze, design, and develop reporting methods for corporate initiatives.
• Assist in determining data requirements and metadata in the data warehouse.
• Maintain reporting solutions in rapid application development environments.
• Maintain broad skill set across software languages, databases and platforms used for analyses and reporting.
• Provide input to reporting protocols, tools, and systems development.
• Document and coordinate complex reporting test plans.
• Participate in vendor evaluation and selection processes.
