Job summary

Sargent Electric Company is seeking an experienced Project Manager for the Renewables Division in Pittsburgh. You will lead complex projects from inception through closeout, ensuring safety, schedule, budget, and quality while coordinating with field teams and clients.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years of leadership in electrical construction, with renewables experience, strong PM and financial controls, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of leadership experience in electrical construction, delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Experience in renewables or power generation projects.
• Strong understanding of project management, financial controls, and construction operations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of project execution, including safety, scheduling, budgeting, and client coordination.
• Champion a safety culture and improve performance with field teams.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and financial outcomes for profitable delivery.
• Oversee construction execution ensuring compliance with specs, quality and safety.
• Serve as primary client contact and maintain relationships with engineers and stakeholders.
• Direct and develop project teams and foster collaboration.
• Manage change orders, RFIs, and project risks to protect company interests.
• Monitor costs, invoices, A/P and A/R, and support forecasting.
• Coordinate procurement, subcontractors, and equipment resources.
• Lead project closeout, including documentation and contract compliance.
• Ensure timely and accurate project documentation and reporting.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and best practices.
• Contribute to business development, bidding and proposal support.
• Mentor team members and support employee development.
• Drive quality control and quality assurance across all phases.
