Job summary

Sargent Electric is seeking a driven Project Manager to lead the Renewables Division in Pittsburgh, PA. You will own the full lifecycle of complex projects, from safety and scheduling to budgeting and client satisfaction, working closely with field teams and leadership.

Travel up to 30% and a remote role supporting the Pittsburgh office offer flexibility as you drive operational excellence, deliver results, and build strong client relationships across the region.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of leadership in electrical construction delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Experience in renewables or power generation projects.
• Strong understanding of project management, financial controls, and construction operations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of project execution, including safety, scheduling, budgeting, and client coordination.
• Champion a best-in-class safety culture with field and safety teams.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and financial outcomes for profitable delivery.
• Oversee construction execution with adherence to specs, quality and safety standards.
• Serve as primary contact for clients, engineers and stakeholders; build strong relationships.
• Direct and develop project teams to foster accountability and growth.
• Manage change orders, RFIs, and project risks; safeguard company interests.
• Monitor costs, invoices, A/P and A/R; support forecasting and reporting.
• Coordinate procurement, subcontractors, and equipment resources for timely delivery.
• Lead project closeout, including documentation, financial reconciliation and contract compliance.
• Ensure timely, accurate project reporting and documentation.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and business development efforts.
