General Electric Credit Union seeks a Virtual Relationship Banker to deliver consultative conversations with members, driving sales and service goals in a busy environment. The role supports loan origination, account services, and digital closings while leveraging CU systems.

The position involves extended hours and coordination with a virtual branch onsite at select locations, offering opportunities for career growth within a member-owned financial institution.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years of customer service or call center experience.
• Minimum one year of experience in a financial institution or related industry.
• Basic understanding of financial institution products and services.
• Fundamental experience in consultative conversations.
• Working experience to analyze financial data including credit reports.

Responsibilities

• Uncover members' financial goals and needs through consultative conversations.
• Advise members on GECU products and services that help achieve financial goals.
• Manage a book of business that meets sales and service goals through virtual consultative conversations.
• Answer inbound calls about new consumer loan accounts and new depository accounts; assist with IRAs and HSAs.
• Facilitate the consumer loan application process, including product recommendation and underwriting readiness.
• Close loans electronically via DocuSign or in-person at a branch.
• Manage loan pipeline with follow-ups and document reviews to advance lending process.
• Perform basic account maintenance using required systems.
