Job summary

Telecare is seeking a Lead Reimbursement Specialist to manage all billing and collections for Medicare, Medi-Cal/Medicaid, and commercial payers. This remote role must be based in MT or PST and may involve travel to Telecare locations.

The ideal candidate has 5 years of billing experience or 2 years of college plus 1 year healthcare experience, with strong Excel/Word skills and the ability to work independently in automated billing environments.

Qualifications

• Five years billing experience or two years college plus one year healthcare experience.
• Extensive knowledge of Medicare, Medi-Cal/Medicaid and commercial insurances.
• High PC literacy, especially Excel and Word.
• Ability to work independently with reimbursement judgment.
• Experience with sophisticated automated billing systems and controls.

Responsibilities

• Handle billing and collections for assigned facilities across payers.
• Stay current on CPT and coding changes and communicate updates.
• Travel to Telecare locations as needed.
