Clark Associates is seeking a Regulatory Expert to support compliance across product categories by interpreting evolving federal and state regulations. You will collaborate with Legal to translate requirements into actionable guidance and oversee regulatory submissions, test reports, and risk assessments.

The role requires expert knowledge of US regulatory programs and the ability to mentor Regulatory Specialists, while ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Expert-level, hands-on experience with US regulatory programs (e.g., FDA, CPSC, TSCA, DOE).
• Strong working knowledge of state-level requirements such as California Proposition 65 and PFAS/chemical restrictions.
• Proven track record of managing compliance risk across product categories and driving regulatory changes through to implementation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess the impact of new federal and state regulations; translate requirements into clear guidance and lead implementation before effective dates.
• Set technical requirements and acceptance criteria for procurement, quality, and supplier teams.
• Lead regulatory risk assessments across product categories with cross-functional teams to prioritize risks and drive corrective actions.
• Serve as final technical reviewer for test reports and regulatory submissions.
• Maintain and improve company-wide product compliance policies, procedures, and workflows.
