Job summary

NourishedRx is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our mission-driven clinical team. The RD will provide individualized nutrition care via telehealth, including assessments, counseling, care planning, and follow-up.

They will translate nutrition recommendations into practical changes reflecting each member's needs, goals, and resources. Responsibilities include developing care plans, using motivational interviewing, collaborating with care teams, and maintaining licensure while staying

Qualifications

• RD/RDN credential through CDR, maintained throughout employment.
• Active state licensure where required and ability to obtain others as needed.
• Strong nutrition assessment, counseling, and clinical decision-making.
• Experience using motivational interviewing and patient-centered counseling techniques.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong listening, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work with diverse member populations and health needs.
• Excellent organization, time-management, and documentation skills.
• Comfort with virtual care and multiple software platforms.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nutrition assessments and provide individualized telehealth nutrition counseling and education.
• Develop and monitor evidence-based nutrition care plans based on clinical needs and preferences.
• Use motivational interviewing and patient-centered approaches to support behavior change.
• Establish collaborative goals with members and evaluate progress through follow-up.
• Provide nutrition care for members with chronic and diet-sensitive conditions.
• Document assessments, interventions, goals, and progress accurately in NourishedRx systems.
• Collaborate with care team for coordinated, member-centered care.
• Develop and contribute to nutrition education and member resources.
• Maintain current nutrition knowledge and licensure required to provide care.
