Job summary

NourishedRx is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian to join our mission-driven clinical team. We partner with health plans and healthcare organizations to deliver food-is-medicine programs designed to improve health outcomes for people living with chronic conditions and other nutrition-related health needs.

Qualifications

• Current RD/RDN credential maintained throughout employment.
• Ability to obtain/maintain state licenses as program requires.
• Strong nutrition assessment, counseling, and clinical decision-making.
• Experience with motivational interviewing and patient-centered counseling.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Active listening, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with diverse backgrounds and health needs.
• Strong organization, time-management, and documentation.
• Comfort in a virtual care environment across multiple software platforms.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nutrition assessments and provide telehealth counseling and education.
• Develop and monitor evidence-based nutrition care plans based on clinical needs and preferences.
• Use motivational interviewing and patient-centered approaches to support behavior change.
• Establish collaborative goals with members and evaluate progress through follow-up.
• Provide nutrition care for chronic and diet-sensitive conditions.
• Document assessments, interventions, goals, and progress in NourishedRx systems.
• Collaborate with care team for coordinated, member-centered care.
• Develop and contribute to nutrition education and member resources.
• Maintain knowledge of nutrition science and guidelines.
• Maintain licensure and credentials to provide care.
• Participate in meetings, continuing education, quality initiatives.
