Job summary

NourishedRx is seeking a PRN Registered Dietitian to join our mission-driven clinical team. The RD provides individualized, evidence-based nutrition care to members across NourishedRx programs via telehealth.

Hours are variable and based on member volume and program needs. The RD assesses, counsels, and educates, collaborating with the care team to translate nutrition recommendations into practical, sustainable changes.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration, maintained throughout employment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain state licenses based on program needs.
• Strong nutrition assessment, counseling, and clinical decision-making skills.
• Experience using motivational interviewing and patient-centered counseling techniques.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with diverse backgrounds and across virtual environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nutrition assessments and provide individualized nutrition counseling and education through telehealth.
• Develop and monitor evidence-based nutrition care plans based on members' needs and goals.
• Use motivational interviewing to support behavior change.
• Establish collaborative goals and evaluate progress through follow-up.
• Provide nutrition care for members with chronic conditions.
• Document assessments, interventions, goals, and progress in NourishedRx systems.
• Collaborate with the care team to support coordinated care.
• Maintain licensure and participate in clinical training.
