Job summary

Foodsmart is seeking compassionate and mission-driven Registered Dietitians with active certifications in New York to join our Foodsmart Nutrition Network. You will deliver virtual Medical Nutrition Therapy and personalized care to members, many of whom are Medicaid participants or facing food insecurity.

This is a unique opportunity to impact health equity by improving access, affordability, and education, while working from home in a flexible, remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• Active credentialing as a Registered Dietitian by the CDR.
• RD licensure in home state and willingness to obtain licenses in high-demand states.
• Ability to work in the United States with availability of 15 hours per week.
• Experience delivering Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) via telehealth is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver MNT and personalized nutrition care to members remotely.
• Support Medicaid participants and individuals facing food insecurity.
• Help members stretch food budgets and access affordable groceries through the platform.
• Connect members with local nutrition resources and online nutrition marketplace.
• Provide ongoing virtual nutrition care via secure video and messaging.
