Job summary

Pomelo Care is expanding its network of Registered Dietitians to deliver virtual care for midlife and menopause transitions. As a 1099 independent contractor, you will set your own schedule and work with a multidisciplinary team to provide evidence-based nutrition therapy.

You will conduct synchronous video visits, maintain documentation, and ensure privacy and compliance while helping patients achieve metabolic health and bone health goals. Prior telehealth and EMR experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• National certification as an RD or RDN with a license to practice in any US state.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience providing evidence-based nutrition counseling.
• Ability to commit to a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours per week.
• Comfort using telehealth platforms, video conferencing, and EMR.
• Strong clinical independence and exceptional communication skills, with a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Conduct synchronous video visits to provide one-on-one nutritional care for midlife and menopausal patients.
• Collaborate with a multi-specialty care team to ensure a cohesive care plan and patient outcomes.
• Partner with patients over a multi-week program to support sustainable lifestyle changes.
• Provide evidence-based nutrition therapy focusing on metabolic, bone, and gut health.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Uphold clinical, privacy, and compliance standards for visits on the Pomelo platform.
