Job summary

Veritas Veterinary Partners seeks an experienced Regional Operations Director to oversee the operational performance of a portfolio of two to four Partner Hospitals within a defined region.

Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, this role drives regional P&L, standards, and leadership development, requires travel 50%+ across time zones, and offers a base salary of $160,000–$200,000 with a discretionary bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Veterinary Practice Management or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive leadership in veterinary or multi-site healthcare operations.
• P&L ownership and financial management across multiple locations.
• Ability to lead hospital Directors and Managers across a distributed portfolio.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with cross-time-zone collaboration.
• Willingness to travel 50% or more across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct operational leadership to Hospital Directors and Managers across two to four partner hospitals.
• Monitor regional standards, budgets, and performance benchmarks aligned with Veritas policies.
• Own regional P&L, guide annual operating budgets and capital expenditure requests.
• Drive regional planning, site visits, and cross-hospital initiatives.
• Develop leadership capacity through succession planning and performance reviews.
