Job summary

OneAmerica in Vancouver, WA is seeking a Regional Organizer to build a strong base of immigrant leaders and grow OA’s campaigns. You will mentor emerging leaders, plan events, and coordinate with the Clark County Chapter to drive advocacy across WA.

Responsibilities include organizing door-to-door canvasses, coordinating communication, and supporting leadership training while engaging in issue campaigns and endorsements. Travel within WA will be required.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of experience doing community-based work.
• Willingness to travel throughout Washington State and nationally on occasion.
• Strong communication and mentorship abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and expand authentic relationships with key community members in Clark County and WA.
• Host phone and door-to-door canvasses to expand the base of supporters.
• Mentor and develop Clark County Chapter leaders for long-term effectiveness.
• Integrate community members into OA’s Vancouver Chapter and broader campaigns.
• Plan leadership trainings and coordinate messaging and direct actions.
• Engage in issue campaigns, voter contact, education and registration activities.
