Job summary

Stoke Therapeutics is seeking a Regional Medical Director, Value and Access, to lead regional medical value strategies and payer engagements. You will translate clinical, health-economic, and real-world data into decision-ready narratives for payers, PBMs, IDNs, and HTA bodies.

In this senior, field-based role, you will partner with Medical Affairs, Market Access, HEOR/RWE, and Regulatory to shape coverage and reimbursement readiness, with a focus on lifecycle management and pre-launch strategy.

Qualifications

• Advanced clinical or scientific degree from a relevant field.
• 10+ years in Medical Affairs, payer medical engagement, Market Access, HEOR/RWE, or related pharma/biotech roles.
• Formal training or demonstrated expertise in HEOR, outcomes research, population health, managed care, epidemiology, or health policy is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional medical value strategy and payer engagement plans.
• Lead scientific exchange with payers, PBMs, IDNs, ACOs, Medicaid, and HTA bodies.
• Serve as senior scientific contact for payer and reimbursement questions (pre-launch to launch).
• Lead non-promotional discussions on disease state, data, guidelines, and HEOR/RWE.
• Plan payer advisory boards and scientific forums; capture insights for action.
• Represent Medical Affairs at regional and national payer meetings.
