Samaritan's Purse is seeking a Regional Manager, Volunteer Development Team, to oversee a year-round volunteer network from a remote base in Lynchburg, VA or the Richmond area. You will recruit and coach leaders, build healthy teams, and align volunteer work with national and regional vision while managing logistics and donor engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus five to seven years of experience leading volunteers and teams toward goals.
• Proven ability to coach and lead volunteer teams to implement programs from a Biblical perspective.
• Experience building relationships with pastors, ministry leaders, and church members.
• Highly organized, proactive and collaborative with strong follow-through.
• 12 credit hours of Biblical Studies or willingness to meet requirement after hire.

• Maintain an active relationship with Jesus Christ and witness for Jesus Christ.
• Recruit and equip mature volunteer leaders; coach and foster collaboration.
• Provide strategic leadership to a year-round volunteer network and drive growth.
• Develop a ministry-aligned logistics network with churches as drop-off locations.
• Lead seasonal shoebox processing and coordinate operations during peak periods.
