Job summary

Samaritan's Purse in Boone, North Carolina, invites applications for a Latin America and Caribbean Regional Manager to lead program strategy and partnerships in the region. The role requires collaboration with headquarters staff, grant management, and on-site monitoring to ensure donor compliance and impact.

The successful candidate will have a BA and 3–5 years of related experience, plus 12 Biblical Studies credits, and a demonstrated commitment to faith-driven service through humanitarian work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (BA) from four-year college or university and 3–5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 12 credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies (required); if not already completed, opportunity to meet and complete requirement is available upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and be a consistent witness for Jesus Christ.
• Support the Regional Director in creating, articulating, and disseminating a clear vision and strategy for Samaritan's Purse programming in the region.
• Work with Headquarters and field staff to ensure grants, awards, and funded programs comply with guidelines and donor requirements.
• Analyze data and background materials to provide guidance to Regional Directors and decision makers.
• Maintain detailed understanding of regional grant activity and provide timely summaries to the Regional Directors.
• Manage partner relationships and programs in the region; establish funding criteria, send guidelines, evaluate proposals, and monitor funded programs.
• Investigate new opportunities for partnership in existing countries and other countries in the region.
• Assist Field Office HQ with procurement planning, bid justifications, and contracts.
• Assist Regional Directors with on-site monitoring and evaluation of partner programs.
• Provide surge capacity for Regional Directors during travel, disaster response, or vacancies.

We are seeking a Regional Manager to join our Latin America and Caribbean team in Boone, NC. Through humanitarian work, the goal and purpose of Samaritan's Purse are to help people in Jesus' name and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

In the role of Regional Manager,you will have the opportunity to:

Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ

Support the Regional Director in order to create, articulate, and disseminate a clear vision and strategy for Samaritan's Purse programing in the region

Work with relevant Headquarters and field-level staff to ensure all grants, awards, and internally funded programs are implemented according to Samaritan's Purse Program Management Guidelines and donor requirements

Analyze data and background materials in order to provide guidance to and support Regional Director(s) and key decision makers

Maintain detailed understanding of regional grant activity and provide timely summaries to the Regional Director(s)

Manage partner relationships and programs in the region and communicate regularly with funding recipients in order to receive timely reports; establish funding and evaluation criteria, send guidelines to perspective partners, evaluate program proposals, make funding recommendations, and monitor currently funded programs

Investigate and determine new opportunities for partnership in existing countries and other countries in the region

Assist Field Office headquarter-level support with all aspects of procurement, including planning, bid justifications, and contracts

Assist Regional Director(s) by providing on-site monitoring and evaluation of partner programs

Assume lead responsibility for managing specific partner projects

Provide surge capacity and assume additional responsibilities for Regional Director(s) during absence due to travel, disaster response, or vacancy

Other duties as assigned
