Forest Stewardship Council is seeking the Regional Manager, Southeast, to lead business development and relationship management across the Southeast region. This remote role covers Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina and Texas with up to 30% travel within the region.

You will drive growth in forest management certification, engage landowners, tribes, processors and stakeholders, and collaborate on grant opportunities while sustaining FSC US’s

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Forestry, Natural Resources, Forest Products, Environmental Science, Business, or a related field.
• Eight+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Grow FSC-certified forest management acreage within the region.
• Increase participation of primary processors in FSC Chain of Custody certification.
• Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline of certification opportunities.
• Represent FSC US at targeted industry meetings, conferences, and stakeholder events.
• Travel up to 30% within the region.
