Job summary

Greenheart International is seeking a Regional Director to lead the High School Programs and supervise 50+ Local Coordinators, placing 100+ exchange students annually. This leadership role emphasizes recruitment, training, compliance with Department of State regulations, and collaboration with schools and community partners to advance the mission.

The position is full-time and remote, with base compensation of $60,000–$69,000 plus an incentive around 15% or more of base pay based on performance

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years as Regional Manager/Director or equivalent in BridgeUSA Exchange Visitor program
• Recruit, train, mentor and retain talent, including independent contractors
• Leadership – organize, motivate and align with mission
• Compliance – implement DoS Bridge USA regulations
• Communication – present training and build relationships with schools and stakeholders
• Travel – travel for recruitment, training and visits
• Data – analyze placement data and performance metrics
• Attention to detail – review applications and documents
• Customer service and networking skills
• Professionalism and tact
• Social media and marketing understanding
• Adaptability to changes in work environment
• Computer skills: Word, Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, Teams

Responsibilities

• Build and supervise a team of Local Coordinators to facilitate timely placement of J-1 exchange students
• Review and pre-approve all student placements
• Work with Program Support on escalated student issues
• Create a regional development plan including recruitment and training meetings
• Maintain DoS compliance and documentation
• Coordinate with Chicago office via email/phone/Teams
• Other duties as assigned
