Job summary

GT Independence is seeking a Regional Compliance Coordinator to oversee regulatory adherence across assigned regions in a remote capacity. The role emphasizes wage laws, audits, incident investigations, and policy implementation to support compliant operations.

You will partner with leadership to resolve issues, deliver training, and maintain documentation, ensuring privacy, HIPAA, and data protection standards are consistently applied.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of compliance-related experience in healthcare, financial services, or a regulated industry.
• Associate’s degree in business administration or related field preferred.
• Proven track record in managing audits, regulatory reporting, and policy implementation.
• Strong understanding of compliance principles, regulatory frameworks, and risk management processes.
• Proficiency in using compliance management systems, databases, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) and Corrective Action Plans (CAPs).
• Investigate compliance-related incidents, including Fraud, Waste, Abuse, Privacy, HIPAA, and other critical matters.
• Collaborate with leadership and compliance teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Provide compliance training and guidance as needed.
