Job summary

University of Florida is seeking a Regional Admissions Officer to manage recruitment across the greater Chicago, Illinois area. Working from a home office, you will travel within Illinois to high schools and college fairs, build relationships with counselors, guide applicants through the admissions process, and support freshman review.

You will oversee your territory, analyze recruitment data, and report progress weekly, while maintaining strong communication with families and schools.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in an appropriate area; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience.
• Valid Driver's License is required.
• Valid Passport, or ability to obtain, is required.

Responsibilities

• Engage with prospective students and families across the Chicago, Illinois region through high school visits, college fairs, and information sessions.
• Manage recruitment territory with planning, reporting, and data analysis to meet enrollment goals.
• Review freshman applications using a holistic approach and support admissions decisions for a selective institution.
• Participate in ongoing training, respond to inquiries, and perform administrative duties as assigned.
