Job summary

Jobot is hiring a Refrigeration Engineer for a REMOTE position. The role involves calculating and designing refrigeration systems, creating layouts and schematics, and reviewing vendor drawings to ensure they meet plans and specs.

You will engage with strategic partners and customers to support business development while advancing your software skills in Revit and Bluebeam Revu. Qualified candidates have a mechanical/architectural engineering background with 3 years of relevant experience, or 5

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or architectural engineering preferred.
• 5 years of experience without degree acceptable.
• PE license may count toward 1 year of direct experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs calculations and designs basic to advanced engineering systems with a high degree of independence.
• Prepares basic to advanced electrical system layouts, detailed drawings, and schematics.
• Review shop drawings for conformance to plans and specifications.
• Performs research and makes recommendations as to the feasibility of systems or equipment.
• Assists with developing, establishing, and maintaining relationships with strategic partners and customers.
• Proactively seeks opportunities for continuous learning and understanding of industry software, including Revit, Bluebeam Revu, and Microsoft Office.
• May support or be responsible for project coordination activities such as managing emails, coordinating scope and schedule, attending client meetings, ensuring project quality, responding to client questions, and coordinating project delivery.
• Acts as a resource for training or assisting others as needed.

Bachelor's degree in mechanical or architectural engineering
