Qualifications

• 2+ years managing organic social or community strategy, with heavy emphasis on Reddit
• Ability to write naturally for Redditors; avoid corporate-speak
• Experience in consumer tech, fintech, or insurtech growth
• Understanding of how Reddit content feeds into Google SGE, LLMs, and SEO
• Thick-skinned and able to handle pushback with humor and honesty

Responsibilities

• Own Jerry’s Reddit presence across brand-owned subs and external automotive/fintech communities
• Define the Reddit voice and engagement rules for technical advice, memes, and lurking
• Create high-effort posts, deep-dives, and visual breakdowns on car ownership topics
• Manage reputation and crisis moments with transparent, helpful responses
• Track metrics like Karma growth, sentiment, share of voice, and referral traffic
• Provide cross-functional feedback to Product and Content teams
