Job summary

Google, through Mandiant, seeks a cybersecurity professional to assess and advise on technical and process-based controls across environments. You will conduct adversarial emulation of cyberattacks and expand capabilities with tooling, research, and knowledge sharing.

Role involves performing Red and Purple Team assessments, external/internal testing, and ransomware readiness reviews in collaboration with internal partners and client teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in engagement testing and red teaming across networks, web apps, mobile, cloud, social engineering, scripting or tool development.
• Experience with tools for wireless, web app, and network security testing.
• Ability to travel up to 30%.
• Ability to communicate in English fluently with internal partners and customer teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform Red and Purple Team assessments and adversarial emulation of cyberattacks.
• Conduct external and internal wireless, web, and mobile application testing, plus embedded system assessments.
• Recognize and utilize attacker tools, tactics, and procedures.
