Job summary

AWARE seeks a Recreation Therapist in Great Falls, MT. The role offers full-time employment with starting pay between $55,000 and $65,000 per year. You will design and deliver therapeutic recreation interventions to help clients improve independence and well-being.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation meeting NCTRC standards.
• Completion of a NCTRC approved internship.
• CTRS certification within one year of hire preferred or achievable.

Responsibilities

• Travel to designated cities/regions to meet clients and provide services.
• Conduct assessments and apply observational skills in client care.
• Plan and implement TR interventions to increase independence.
• Design TR protocols, session plans and processes for clients.
• Implement culturally sensitive interventions based on client needs.
• Document and evaluate services for efficiency and quality.
