Job summary

International Consulting Associates, Inc. is seeking an Epidemiologist specializing in real-world evidence to join our HTA team on a remote basis. You will lead analyses of RWD sources, collaborating with clients and stakeholders to support regulatory decision-making for medical devices.

Candidates should have hands-on data curation, EHR/claims experience, and strong writing skills. A Master’s degree is required; a Doctorate is preferred.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience conducting data curation activities and analysis of RWD data, including EHR and administrative claims data.
• Mastery of key considerations, principles, and best practices for RWE generation.
• Ability to identify potential biases affecting RWD quality and reliability.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking and communication skills including technical writing and editing.

Responsibilities

• Understand RWD architecture, curation, and analysis methodologies across different types of health data to support robust, regulatory-aligned research.
• Conduct assessments of RWD sources to support RWE generation for regulatory decision-making.
• Independently deliver detailed assessments of research, pre-market, and regulatory materials related to RWE for medical devices.
• Collaborate with epidemiologists, data scientists, and non-technical stakeholders on RWE initiatives.
