BairesDev is seeking a Streaming Data Engineer to design and build real-time data pipelines that deliver low-latency insights using Kafka, Flink, Spark Streaming, and Kinesis.

You will optimize ingestion, ensure exactly-once processing, and collaborate with data architects on schema evolution and data quality while maintaining security and reliability in a 100% remote setup.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Streaming.
• Experience designing real-time data pipelines.
• Strong English communication skills.

As a Streaming Data Engineer, you will design and build real-time data streaming systems that ensure high throughput and low-latency data processing. You will play a key role in architecting event-driven solutions that provide the organization with immediate, actionable insights from continuous data streams.

What You'll Do

• Design, implement, and manage scalable real-time data pipelines using Kafka and Flink.
• Develop streaming applications that handle complex event processing and ensure exactly-once semantics.
• Optimize data ingestion and processing layers to maintain high performance across Spark Streaming and Kinesis.
• Collaborate with data architects to define schema evolution and data quality standards for streaming workloads.
• Monitor and troubleshoot distributed streaming infrastructure to ensure system reliability and data consistency.
• Implement security best practices for data in transit and manage multi-tenant streaming environments.

What We Are Looking For

• 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Stream Processing, or Software Engineering.
• Proven expertise in designing and building real-time data streaming systems across various tools.
• Proficiency with core technologies including Kafka, Flink, Spark Streaming, and Kinesis.
• Deep understanding of optimizing for latency, throughput, and exactly-once semantics.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
