Jobot, a boutique commercial real estate law firm based in Los Angeles and San Diego, seeks an Associate Attorney with 8+ years of experience in complex CRE transactions, including purchase and sale finance and joint ventures. The on-site role offers a high earning package ($270K–$320K base) with strong bonuses and a path to partnership, plus remote options in Southern California.

Qualifications

Barred in CA
8+ years of experience in commercial real estate law at a large or reputable law firm.
Strong drafting and negotiating skills for complex real estate documents."
Experience managing multiple transactions with light supervision.
Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.

Responsibilities

Draft, review, and negotiate real estate transaction documents (purchase/sale agreements, loan documents, joint venture agreements).
Conduct thorough due diligence and manage closing processes.
Advise clients on acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and development projects.
Collaborate with senior attorneys, clients, and opposing counsel to resolve complex issues.
Stay informed on real estate laws, market trends, and developments to guide clients.
