Job summary

Macquarie Capital Principal Finance is seeking an Analyst on the US Real Estate Principal Finance team in New York. You will screen investment opportunities, underwrite financial analyses, and distill market data into investment memoranda while supporting portfolio asset management and internal reporting.

You will work closely with senior team members on a variety of transactions. The role requires 1+ years in real estate/finance, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills (Argus a plus), and a keen

Qualifications

• 1+ years of relevant experience in real estate, finance, investment banking or asset management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; Argus is a plus.
• Proficiency in / willingness to adopt AI tools.
• Strong interest in the real estate debt and private equity industry.
• Proficiency in financial modeling.
• Conceptual, technical, and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A proactive self-starter mindset with an ability to manage competing workstreams / deliverables in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Screen investment opportunities and underwrite detailed financial analyses.
