Independent contractor status offers a flat-rate per field event. Applicants should hold a real estate license and be prepared to affiliate with Redfin, join MLS/REALTOR associations, and travel within your market.

Qualifications

• Real estate license in the state you’ll work.
• Smartphone, laptop, and GPS, or willingness to obtain them.
• Willingness to join MLS and Realtor Association.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel within your market.

Responsibilities

• Show homes, host open houses, attend inspections.
• Set your own hours and workload.
• Get plenty of customers, especially on weekends.
• No sales pressure, contracts, or closings.
• Work remotely out in the field – no office visits required.
• Free, optional educational services to grow your skills.
• Pay: As an independent contractor, you’ll earn a flat‑rate payment per field event.
